Can Wii Play??

So Chad & I bought a Wii (pronounced wee) this weekend. For those of you that are technology impaired, this is the new Nintendo game system. Well I saw a High School Musical Sing it game the other day. And I happened to mention what fun that would be to play. So then Chad was like "Huh, a game she would enjoy. We have to get a Wii!" Well guess what....they are not easy to find! We went to Fred Meyer, Toys R US, Best Buy, Circuit City and finally Target. I know why I enjoy Target so much...they had 3 of them!!! So now Wii can play the wii all the time!! :) Shelby and I were fighting over who got to sing it tonight! Luckily she does not know how to take video with my camera so the footage you will see will be my cute daughter singing along!! Though I think I look pretty cute dancing and singing along too!!

Things to Remember....

A friend sent this to me in an email today and it just reminds me that we need to stop and just enjoy life, and not worry about the little things.

IF I HAD MY LIFE TO LIVE OVER - by Erma Bombeck
(Written after she found out she was dying from cancer)

I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the earth would go into a holding pattern if I weren't there for the day.

I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage.

I would have talked less and listened more.

I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained, or the sofa faded

I would have eaten the popcorn in the 'good' living room and worried much less about the dirt when someone wanted to light a fire in the fireplace.

I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth.

I would have shared more of the responsibility carried by my husband.

I would never have insisted the car windows be rolled up on a summer day because my hair had just been teased and sprayed.

I would have sat on the lawn! With my grass stains.

I would have cried and laughed less while watching television and more while watching life.

I would never have bought anything just because it was practical, wouldn't show soil, or was guaranteed to last a lifetime.

Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy, I'd have cherished every moment and realized that the wonderment growing inside me was the only chance in life to assist God in a miracle.

When my kids kissed me impetuously, I would never have said, 'Later. Now go get washed up for dinner.'

There would have been more 'I love you's; more 'I'm sorry's.'

But mostly, given another shot at life, I would seize every minute...look at it and really see it. Live it and never give it back. STOP SWEATING THE SMALL STUFF!!!

Don't worry about who doesn't like you, who has more, or who's doing what.

Instead; let's cherish the relationships we have with those who do love us.

Let's think about what God HAS blessed us with, and what we are doing each day to promote ourselves mentally, physically, and emotionally.

APRIL FOOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Had you going there for a minute didn't I? I know, I know I am a day late but I just didn't get around to posting this yesterday! We did however pull this on my brother and mom and they both fell for it!! HA! HA!! HA!!!

So actually we do have some exciting news...We took our kitty for a follow up visit tonight. She got her sutures removed and we can take her cone off in about 3 days. The lump on her tail was cancer but luckily by removing it we have hopefully prevented it from developing it in any other part of her body. We will just have to check her body periodically for lumps or take her back in if she seems to not be eating or vomiting. So PHEW!! No more vet!!

So my friend send me an email today with this great quiz. As you all may know I am a big fan of anything 80's. For any of you 80 Kids out there here is a fun quiz for you to take.

I scored a 77. Some of them I sing in my head but just not fill in the blanks!!

Take the quiz! It's fun!!
